God Room

Wow, God room. The "God works in mysterious ways" saying is completely true. He does and will.

Have I ever experienced God room? Yes, I believe I have. However, I am not going to go into detail about it. I will say this- In these situations where I have experienced "God room" I have not asked for it or said I was waiting on Him- He just came through. I didn't just sit back and wait for it like Bob did. Why? I am headstrong and do not like help (some know this more than others). However, if there's a gap in your life God will fill it. Sometimes even when you are to prideful to ask him to.

Living in Bob's God room principle would have driving me insane. While Bob would be praying, I would be budgeting, planning, and organizing. That's just the way I am. Do I have faith in God? Yes. However, in the moment I can get lost and feel that it's all up to me. It's not, and it's good to know I have Someone to rely on.

  1. So, out of curiousity, do you think you would ever try God Room, or do you think that it's just not the way you work?

  3. Great post, I can see God room driving me crazy too. Then again, I think it's one of those things that either drives you insane if you hate it or annoys everyone around you if you live it.

  5. CASEY: Good question. I don't know that I would try the God Room theory consciously...myabe subconsciously. Im not sure.

LAUREN: No ma'am, you have yet to comment on my post. : ( Why do you hate me? Just kidding.

    DAVID: Haha! So true.

LOGAN: I prefer Victoria-Grace. : ) My favorite book in the Bible is Esther- she was an amazing young woman. My favorite verse is the on about "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young..." The reference escapes me. I'm all up for the being young and empowered thing.

  10. So what are you passionate about? What works and deeds get you excited?

Some people are Bible people and read their Bibles daily, some people are prayer warriors, and some people have a heart for the persecuted church. Still, some people are into discipling and mentoring struggling Christians, others are into evangelism, some people are into praise and worship, and others yet are into servanthood.

What are your passions when it comes to God's Kingdom?

(Oh yeah, the previous two comments just needed to be reworded. They didn't sound like I wanted them to)
